It tells the story of a young attorney, Jeff Mills, who saves a beautiful woman named Miranda Reed (Preston) from her abusive boyfriend. Having no home to stay in Miranda goes to stay with Jeff.

Unfortunately for Jeff Miranda is also a member of a witches coven, and she’s on the run from the lot of them. They need her back in order to sacrifice her on the winter solstice - though she must come willingly in the end or the sacrifice will not work properly. But the coven tries to force her anyway, managing to get Jeff mixed up in the trouble as well by terrifying him with their powers.

The actress and rug model met with and greeted retailers from around the country and the world, signing autographs and performing all the functions of a good host at an invitation-only event.

Apparently she posed for photos, as well. Sounds like those years as a model were put to good use. And from the sounds of it, too, Preston is going to turn out as a good investment on Karastan’s part.

Preston has been fronting for Neutrogena since 2005 and there’s no sign that she’ll be leaving any time soon. She’s appeared in both print ads and commercials, joining several other popular actresses and models.

But Preston isn’t exclusive to Neutrogena. Beginning in 2008 Preston will start appearing in a series of ads for Karastan rugs and carpets under their “Make a Statement” line, an eco-friendly home furnishing company. Both in print and online, Karastan will probably give Preston plenty of work for the next little while.

Mischief is the story of Johnathan (Doug McKeon, On Golden Pond), a timid young man who has fumbles with girls, school, and life in general. Johnathan pines for the beautiful Marilyn, played by Kelly Preston. Along the way, his motorcycle-riding friend Gene (Chris Nash, Silent Witness) decides to help Johnathan get his dream girl.

Mischief grossed a respectable $8,700,000 and was a moderate success with critics. Kelly Preston has since parlayed her Mischief role into an impressive career. Preston even landed a role in the 1996 megahit Jerry Maguire. Mischief has yet to be released on DVD, but with fans clamoring for a home video version, a release can’t be far away. Kelly Preston can soon be seen opposite her husband, John Travolta, in the upcoming film Old Dogs.

Hot Shots star Charlie sheen is arguably more famous for his tumultuous personal life than for his long, successful acting Career.

Kelly Preston ended a relationship with Sheen because of his erratic behavior, frequent dealings with prostitues, and abusive tendencies. In 1990, Charlie Sheen shot Kelly Preston in the leg. Kelly recieved minor injuries, requiring two stictches. Sheen insists that he shot Kelly accidentally, and was not charged. Kelly Preston has married actor John Travolta since her breakup with Charlie Sheen.

Charlie has managed to recover his career, but not his personal life. He had a brief marriage to actress Denise Richards, but she has since asked for restrictions on Sheen’s visist with their children. She was not shot, at least. Charlie Sheen can be seen playing Charlie Harper on the CBS sitcom Two and a Half Men.
